Amanda + Dan

Sometimes I just can't believe the awesome opportunities this life of photography has blessed me with.

Most inquiry messages I receive start out with asking my availability and pricing off the bat. But not Amanda & Dan's. They first asked me if I would be interested in joining them overseas for their wedding, in beautiful Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba...Cuba? Ummm, heck ya!

A little serendipitous sidetone: Amanda & Dan met at a wedding that I photographed years ago and many of their guests joining us in Cuba were part of that wedding too (How awesome is that??). Going to Cuba is one thing, to have the opportunity to go there, befriend and reunite with so many awesome people, is the equivalent of life giving you lemonade.

But speaking of lemons, out of all seven days that we were there, the one day that Cuban winter decided to show its face was on their wedding day. But that didn't stop Dan and Amanda and their adventurous personalities; they were down to hit the beach and brave the Cuban rain and winds. And boy did it pay off. Looking back through all the fun times that happened because of the rainy day; like Dan almost seeing Amanda before their first look (thank god for umbrellas), super windy beach time, or having their own private island gazebo ceremony, it all just made their day that much more memorable.

Megan + Matt

A perfect blend of nerdy cool and heartwarming love, Megan and Matt's wedding proved that love knows no bounds.

DanDan + Justin

One of the unique blessings of being a wedding photographer is having every now and then I get the honour of documenting a wedding day for two of my close friends.

Lorrein + Asshur

If I told you that Lorrein and Asshur's photos were taken at a golf course, would you believe me? I know I wouldn't.
